AI social media manager: can AI run a small business's social media?

Yes — an AI social media manager can run a small business's social media: in Weyvox that is Alice, the marketing agent of your AI team. She runs your accounts on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Threads, Pinterest and Bluesky, writes a separate version of each post for every network and publishes it at once, on a set date or to a weekly plan. She replies to comments, shows statistics and makes the photos, short videos, voice-overs and music herself — and whether she asks before every post or publishes on her own is your choice.

Eight networks, connected by you

Alice works with the accounts you connect yourself, on her Social media screen: tap a network, sign in on the network's own page and come back to the app. For Facebook and LinkedIn you then choose which page or profile Weyvox runs, and you tell Alice which of the connected accounts she runs.

NetworkWhat Alice publishes there
InstagramPosts, Reels and Stories on a professional (Business or Creator) account
FacebookPosts, Reels and Stories on a business Page
TikTokVideos and photos, delivered as a draft to your TikTok app — you publish them there
YouTubeVideos and Shorts
LinkedInPosts on a personal profile or a company page
ThreadsShort posts of up to 500 characters; needs a professional Instagram account
PinterestPins to your boards
BlueskyPosts of up to 300 characters; connecting needs a Bluesky app password

An account can be reconnected or disconnected on the same screen at any time. Disconnecting cancels the posts scheduled only for that account; what is already published stays on the network.

How AI social media posts are made: one line in the chat

There is no content calendar to fill in first. You write in the team chat the way you would ask a colleague: “@Alice, make a post about our autumn offer for Instagram and Facebook.” Or you tell Leo what you need, and he hands the job to Alice.

  • Your business, not invented copy. Prices, offers and opening hours come from your business profile and price list; photos and videos from Materials for the agent or straight from the chat, up to 20 per message. She never invents offers, reviews or customers.
  • A version for each network, in the language of that account's audience — short for Threads or Bluesky, more formal for a LinkedIn company page, a pin for Pinterest.
  • With a picture or a video. Up to 10 photos or videos per post (several photos make a carousel); a Story takes exactly one. Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube need a picture or a video — text alone is not enough there.
  • Now or later. She publishes straight away or schedules the post up to 30 days ahead.
  • The result. Every post is listed in Publication history with its status and statistics per network. A failed post is always reported in the system chat; successful ones too, while Notify about publications is on.

Ask first, or let her post to a plan

Like every agent in Weyvox, Alice has an Autonomy switch on her page:

  • Off. She agrees every post with you: she shows the final text and pictures first and publishes only after your yes.
  • On. She publishes on her own, without waiting for your yes.

The Social media plan screen turns this into a routine. You write the plan — or tap Draft the plan with the agent — with what to post about, the tone, what to promote and what to avoid; then you set Posts per week, from 1 to 21, and the networks she runs. The autopilot works when four things are true: Plan is active is on, the plan has text, Alice's Autonomy is on, and she runs at least one connected account. Once a day she then looks at the coming week and schedules the posts that are missing up to your weekly number, with pictures. With Autonomy off, the plan is saved but every post still waits for your yes; a paused plan prepares nothing new, while posts already scheduled still go out.

Comments and statistics

  • Comments on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads and Bluesky. With Access to comments on — it is on the Agent capabilities screen — Alice answers comments under her posts on her own and may comment herself, checking for new ones every two hours. With it off, she only shows you comments when you ask. On Instagram she can also hide a comment.
  • Signed as an AI. Every reply she writes is signed as the AI agent of your business, so people know they are talking to an AI — in line with the transparency rules of Article 50 of the EU AI Act.
  • Statistics. For a published post: views, reach, likes, comments, shares, saves and more, per network. For an account: followers, posts and engagement over the period you choose. The figures come from the networks and can arrive late or incomplete.
  • At a glance. In Results, “What the team did” counts the posts Alice published, and “Needs your attention” lists the ones that failed.

AI content creator: photos, video, voice-overs and music

  • Photos. Alice creates pictures from a description and edits yours: a new background, an object removed, another style. Quality — 1K, 2K or 4K — is set on Agent capabilities.
  • Short AI clips of 3–10 seconds, without speech; a clip she made can be extended up to 40 seconds within two days. Vertical for Reels, Stories, TikTok and Shorts, horizontal for YouTube or a website; HD 720p or Full HD 1080p. A clip can start from a photo of your product, a dish, an interior, a storefront or a street.
  • Sound. Voice-overs in a library voice, music — instrumental unless you want a song — sound effects, and cleaning up the sound of a noisy clip. A real person's voice is not offered.
  • Reels from your own footage. She cuts a reel of up to 90 seconds from your photos and videos, adding her own clips and sound, and shows a preview in the chat with the post texts — the preview is not charged. The final version comes after your yes; with Autonomy on, she may go straight to the final.
  • She watches what you send. Every video you give her is analysed once — scenes, text on screen, what is said, quality problems — so she can pick the right moments. She never identifies people.

Only your own material? Switch off Photo generation and Video generation on Agent capabilities: she then uses only your photos and edits reels only from your own videos and photos. The pictures, AI clips and music she creates carry built-in invisible AI marking, and when a post contains AI-made media, the AI label of Instagram, TikTok and YouTube is set automatically. Editing your own footage is not AI content.

  • Trends. Every day Weyvox picks short YouTube videos in your business's category — up to 3 minutes long, published in the last two weeks — that are gaining views fastest. Analyze asks Alice why a video works (format, hook, structure, length) and how you could shoot your own; Create similar puts her to work on your version: the script, the texts for each network and an edited preview from your material. If something is missing, she tells you what to film.
  • A YouTube link in the chat. Send a link to a public YouTube video and Alice watches it — up to 120 minutes per request, videos over 20 minutes in lower resolution — then tells you what is in it or makes your version. It is charged per started minute, once the answer is ready. For videos from other sites, send her the file instead.

“Your version” means your own original video — your footage, your products, your place — not a copy of someone else's. Trends and watching by link use YouTube API Services, and the YouTube Terms of Service apply.

AI marketing for a small business in practice

  • A café, three posts a week. On Social media plan the owner writes “the dish of the day and seasonal drinks, a warm tone, photos of our real dishes, no prices”, sets 3 posts a week for Instagram and Facebook, and turns on Autonomy and Plan is active. To show only real dishes, she switches off Photo generation, so Alice takes the photos from Materials for the agent. The coming week stays filled; when the menu changes, the owner changes the plan.
  • A salon's before-and-after reel. The stylist sends ten photos and two short videos from the week — with the client's consent — and writes “@Alice, a before-and-after reel for Instagram and TikTok”. Alice cuts a 30-second reel, adds a music track and shows the preview with the texts. After the yes, the Reel goes out on Instagram and a draft goes to TikTok, where the stylist publishes it in the app.
  • A plumber on Facebook and LinkedIn. “@Alice, post the bathroom we finished yesterday”, with three photos: a carousel for the Facebook Page and a more formal text for the LinkedIn company page. Autonomy is off, so the plumber sees both versions first and taps yes.
  • A shop catching a trend. On Trends, a video from the shop's category is climbing fast. Analyze explains the hook; Create similar returns a script built on the shop's own products and a list of shots to film on the phone; Alice edits them into a Short and a Reel.

An AI social media manager vs an agency, tools or doing it yourself

The usual ways a small business keeps its social media going, compared honestly — by category, since the details differ from one provider to the next.

OptionWho does the workStrong sideWeak side
Doing it yourselfYou, from your phone, between jobsYour own voice, full control, no extra feesHours every week; posting stops in busy weeks; editing video is a skill of its own
A freelancer or an agencyA person or a team you brief and payHuman judgement and taste; can also run ads and answer direct messagesUsually the most expensive option; briefs, approvals and waiting; your photos and news still have to reach them
Scheduling toolsYou write and design; the tool publishes on timeA calendar and a queue across several networksEvery text and picture is still yours to make, and so are the replies to comments
AI writing toolsYou ask for a text, then copy it and post itFast drafts and ideasThey know your prices and offers only if you tell them; carrying the text to each network, publishing and answering comments stay with you
Weyvox — AliceAn AI agent in your business app, in one chat with the rest of the teamWrites from your business profile, price list and material; makes photos, video and sound; publishes or schedules on eight networks and answers comments on five; follows a weekly plan; asks first or acts alone — your choiceNo ads or direct messages; TikTok posts arrive as drafts; you stay responsible for what is published; AI video is the costliest item

These are not either-or. An agency can keep running your ads while Alice keeps the everyday posts and comment replies going. And Autonomy off is the middle way for owners who want Alice to do the writing and the pictures but to see every post before it goes out.

What an AI social media manager costs

Alice's work is paid from your plan's monthly credit first, then from your balance. The plans: Start — €19 a month excl. VAT with €25 of credit; Business — €89 with €110; Professional — €199 with €250. Her work in the chat — writing, planning, publishing — is charged at token rates (€3.00 per million input tokens, €15.00 per million output tokens), and each piece of media has its own price:

WhatPrice
Photo, 1K / 2K / 4K€0.15 / €0.30 / €0.50 per image
AI video clip, 720p / 1080p€0.30 / €0.45 per second
Video editing€0.20 per minute of the finished video, minimum €0.10
Voice-over€0.30 per 1,000 characters
Music€0.25 per track
Sound effects€0.0333 per started 10 seconds
Audio clean-up€0.35 per minute
Watching a video — yours, or YouTube from a link€0.05 per started minute

You pay only for a finished result: a refusal or a failure is not charged, neither is the preview of a reel, and before anything costly Alice names the price.

A worked month. A café posting three times a week on Instagram and Facebook — 12 posts:

  • 8 posts with one 2K photo each: 8 × €0.30 = €2.40
  • 4 reels of 30 seconds from the café's own footage, three clips of under a minute per reel: watching 4 × 3 × €0.05 = €0.60; editing 4 × (½ minute × €0.20) = €0.40; one music track each, 4 × €0.25 = €1.00 — together €2.00
  • Media for the month: €2.40 + €2.00 = €4.40, plus Alice's work in the chat at token rates.

For a round planning figure, the cost simulator on the pricing page counts an average post — half with a photo, half with a video — at about €1.80: 12 × €1.80 = €21.60. That fits within the Start plan's €25 monthly credit, though it leaves only €3.40 of it for the other agents. AI video is what moves the bill: one 10-second vertical clip in 1080p is 10 × €0.45 = €4.50, so a month with eight of them (8 × €4.50 = €36.00) needs the Business plan's credit or your balance. Every unit price is on the pricing page.

What she will not do

  • Run ads or handle direct messages. Alice does not send direct messages, run ads, follow accounts, edit profiles or analyse competitors' accounts.
  • Fake anything. No made-up customers, staff, reviews or testimonials, no famous people, no children; your product, dish and place are shown as they are. You and your team can appear, from your own photos and videos, with consent.
  • Hide that she is an AI. Her replies are signed as your business's AI agent, generated media carries AI marking, and that marking must not be removed.
  • Publish on TikTok by herself. A TikTok post arrives as a draft in your TikTok app, and you publish it there. A published post on Instagram, Threads or TikTok is deleted by you in the network's app; on the other five networks she can delete it.
  • Promise reach. Nobody can guarantee views, followers or sales, and Weyvox does not. Each network's own rules apply to what is published there, including its rules on advertising, branded content and AI-generated media.
  • Take the responsibility off you. What goes out on your accounts counts as yours, as if you had posted it yourself — worth remembering with Autonomy on. Social media is run only by the business owner, from the owner's chat; team members do not get these tools.
  • Work without funds. When the plan's credit and your balance are both used up, paid work stops until you top up.

The legal side is in the Terms of Use, sections 14–16; every one of Alice's screens is described in the documentation.

One of a team of four

Alice is the marketing agent of Weyvox, an AI team of four in one chat. Leo, the team lead, remembers what matters and runs your goals. Cindy handles telephony: she answers phone calls for your business when you can't and calls customers for you as an AI calling agent. Marc handles the business side: customers, orders, AI invoicing and documents. That is why a post is not written in a vacuum: the offer and its price come from Marc's price list, and Cindy can take the calls a post brings in. How the four work together: what AI employees can really do for a small business.

Questions people ask

Can AI manage social media for a small business?

Yes. In Weyvox, Alice — the marketing agent of your AI team — writes posts for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Threads, Pinterest and Bluesky, publishes or schedules them, replies to comments and shows statistics. She works from your business profile, your price list and your own photos and videos, and with a Social media plan she can keep your accounts going on her own.

Which social networks does Weyvox post to?

Eight: Instagram (a professional account), Facebook (a business Page), TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn (a profile or a company page), Threads, Pinterest and Bluesky. You connect the accounts yourself on Alice's Social media screen. On TikTok a post arrives as a draft in your TikTok app, and you publish it there.

Will the AI post without my approval?

Only if you allow it. With Alice's Autonomy off, she shows you the final text and pictures and publishes only after your yes; with it on, she publishes on her own and, with an active Social media plan, keeps the coming week scheduled. A failed post is always reported in the system chat.

Can AI make videos for my small business's social media?

Yes. Alice makes short AI clips of 3–10 seconds in 720p or 1080p and edits reels of up to 90 seconds from your own photos and videos, with voice-overs and music. A 10-second vertical clip in 1080p costs 10 × €0.45 = €4.50; editing costs €0.20 per minute of the finished video, and the preview is not charged.

How much does an AI social media manager cost?

In Weyvox, Alice's work is paid from your plan's monthly credit: Start is €19 a month excl. VAT with €25 of credit, Business €89 with €110. Each piece has a unit price — a photo €0.15 to €0.50, AI video €0.30 or €0.45 per second, music €0.25 a track — plus the agent's work at token rates. The cost simulator on the pricing page counts an average post, half with a photo and half with a video, at about €1.80.

Does the AI reply to comments, and do people know it's an AI?

Alice replies to comments on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads and Bluesky when Access to comments is on, checking for new ones every two hours. Every reply is signed as the AI agent of your business. With the switch off, she only shows you comments when you ask.

Will an AI get my business more followers or sales?

Nobody can guarantee that, and Weyvox does not promise it. Alice keeps a steady rhythm, adapts every post to its network, follows Trends in your category and shows the statistics of each post, but reach depends on the networks and on your audience. The figures come from the networks themselves.

Can I use only my own photos and videos?

Yes. Switch off Photo generation and Video generation on the Agent capabilities screen of Alice's page: she then uses only your photos and edits reels only from your own videos and photos in Materials for the agent. Editing your own footage is not AI content, and you and your team can appear in it with consent.

Let Alice make your next post

The quickest way to see her at work is the introduction right after you sign up: tell Leo what your business does, and Alice makes a photo for a post about it — before you choose a plan. Weyvox is available for iPhone and Android.
