Cross-posting app, social media scheduler or AI agent: what is the difference
All of them save you from posting the same thing in every app by hand. They differ in who writes the post and how much of it is still yours to do — compared here by category, since the details differ from one provider to the next:
| Option | What it does | What is left for you |
|---|---|---|
| Posting in each network's app | Nothing automatic: you open every app in turn | Everything, as many times as you have networks |
| Cross-posting app | Sends one post to several networks at once | Writing and designing the post; the same text often goes everywhere |
| Social media scheduler | A queue and a calendar: posts go out at the time you set | Every caption and picture, written and made in advance |
| Weyvox — Alice, the AI marketer | Writes a separate version for each network from your business profile and price list, makes the picture or edits your video, publishes now or schedules up to 30 days ahead, and can follow a weekly plan | Tapping Publish on the post card (or letting her publish the plan's posts herself), and the final word on what goes out |
Everything else Alice does — comments, statistics, photos and video — is on her page: Alice, the AI marketer.
Eight networks: what you can connect and what each one takes
| Network | What can be connected | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|
| A professional account: posts, Reels, Stories | Needs a picture or a video in every post; a professional (Business or Creator) account | |
| A business Page: posts, Reels, Stories | A text-only post is possible | |
| TikTok | Videos and photos | They arrive as a draft in your TikTok app, and you publish them there |
| YouTube | Videos and Shorts | Needs a video |
| A personal profile or a company page | A text-only post is possible | |
| Threads | Short posts up to 500 characters | Needs a professional Instagram account; a text-only post is possible |
| Pins to your boards | Needs a picture or a video | |
| Bluesky | Posts up to 300 characters | Needs a Bluesky app password; a text-only post is possible |
You connect the accounts yourself on Alice's Social media screen: tap a network, sign in on the network's own page and come back to the app; for Facebook and LinkedIn you then choose which page or profile Weyvox runs. A post holds up to 10 photos or videos (several photos make a carousel); a Story takes exactly one photo or video.
Post to all social media at once — with a separate text for each network
You ask the way you would ask a colleague: “@Alice, post this photo of our new menu on Instagram, Facebook and Threads.” What comes back is not one text copied three times:
- A version for every network. Alice writes a separate version for each network, in the language of that account's audience — short for Threads (up to 500 characters) and Bluesky (up to 300), more formal for a LinkedIn company page.
- Facts from your business. Prices, offers and opening hours come from your business profile and price list; Alice never invents offers, reviews or customers.
- One post card. The post comes to the chat as a card — the cover, the networks and formats, the text and the publishing time — with Publish and Edit. Tap it to see the post full screen exactly as it will look on the network; a post for several networks has a network switch at the top, so you can check each version.
- Exactly what you saw. Publish sends out exactly those versions; Edit — say what to change, and Alice sends a new version of the card. In the chat, nothing is published until you tap Publish.
How Alice writes captions and makes carousels and pictures is covered in AI Instagram post generator; video in AI video maker for Reels, TikTok and Shorts.
Schedule posts on all social media platforms, up to 30 days ahead
A post goes out right after you tap Publish or at the time on its card — ask for it in the same message: “…on Friday at 9:00”. You can schedule up to 30 days ahead.
- The Scheduled tab. After Publish, the post moves to the Scheduled tab of Alice's Posts screen, together with everything she schedules herself. Each publication sits in its own block, exactly as it will look on the network, by day, with a calendar and a network filter.
- Its state. Preparing, scheduled, publishing or published; published posts stay on this tab for 30 days. Tapping a block opens the post.
- The history. The Published tab lists every post with its state and statistics per network.
- Reports. A failed post is always reported in the system chat and shows in Results under “Needs your attention”; successful ones are reported while Notify about publications is on.
Change, cancel or delete a scheduled post
- Before it goes out. On the Scheduled tab, use Edit and Cancel, or simply ask Alice in the chat. She changes the text and the time at once; a post still being prepared goes back to its card.
- A new photo or video. It comes as a new post card, and tapping Publish on it cancels the earlier post — so the old and the new version never both go out.
- Cancelling. A scheduled post can be cancelled on any network.
- Deleting a published post. It can be deleted from Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest and Bluesky; on Instagram, Threads and TikTok you delete it yourself in the network's app.
- Disconnecting an account. It cancels the posts scheduled only for that account; what is already published stays on the network.
Auto-post to social media by a weekly plan
For a steady rhythm without asking each time, Alice has a Social media plan: what to post about, the tone, what to promote and what to avoid, Posts per week from 1 to 21 and the networks she runs. Only your Approve on the plan card saves and turns it on. Then, once a day, she looks at the coming week and prepares the posts that are missing up to the weekly number, each for a different day, with pictures.
- Autonomy on (Business and Professional plans) — she schedules and publishes the plan's posts herself, and they appear on the Scheduled tab.
- Autonomy off, and always on Start — she sends each one to you as a post card with a push notification, and it goes out only after you tap Publish.
- Either way, a reel with defects found by the quality check never goes out without your Publish anyway.
How the plan is written, approved and paused is described step by step in the content calendar section of the Instagram guide.
Three examples of cross-posting with Alice
The businesses below are made up; the way the posts go out is how Weyvox works.
- The week's menu on three networks. A café owner sends one photo on Sunday evening: “@Alice, the new lunch menu with prices, on Instagram, Facebook and Threads, Monday at 8:00.” One post card arrives with a network switch: a caption for Instagram, a slightly longer text for the Facebook Page and a short one for Threads, prices taken from the price list. The owner taps Publish, and the post waits on the Scheduled tab until Monday morning. Preparing the photo post costs 10 credits.
- A text-only update. A carpenter writes: “@Alice, tell people on LinkedIn, Threads and Bluesky that the workshop is closed next Friday.” A text-only post is possible on these networks, so no picture is needed — and it has no post charge: only Alice's work writing it is charged, like any chat with the agents.
- One video, three short-video networks. A hairdresser films a 40-second before-and-after clip: “@Alice, Saturday at 10:00 as a Reel on Instagram, a Short on YouTube and on TikTok.” On Start she publishes the ready video as it is, at the price of an edited video — 15 credits for each started half-minute, here 30 credits. Instagram and YouTube get it at 10:00; on TikTok it arrives as a draft in the TikTok app, and the hairdresser publishes it there.
What cross-posting with Alice costs
Weyvox prices are in credits: 1 credit = €0.01 excl. VAT. Plans are monthly — Start €25 excl. VAT with 2,500 credits, Business €110 with 11,000, Professional €250 with 25,000 — and Alice's work comes out of the plan credits first, then out of extra credits.
| What | Price |
|---|---|
| Preparing a photo or graphic post (a carousel too) | 10 credits, charged when you tap Publish |
| A video post | The editing price: 15 credits for each started half-minute of the finished video (90 seconds — 45 credits) |
| A text-only post (Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky) | No post charge — only Alice's work writing it |
| A design or reel Weyvox already made, taken from Materials | Published at no extra charge |
| A picture Alice creates, 1K | 10 credits per image |
| Alice's work in the chat | Token rates: 500 credits per million input tokens, 2,500 per million output tokens |
A worked month. The cost simulator on the pricing page counts preparing and publishing a post at about 70 credits. A small business posting three times a week — 12 posts a month — comes to 12 × ≈ 70 = ≈ 840 credits, a third of the Start plan's 2,500. You pay only for a finished result: a refusal or a failure is not charged, and before anything costly Alice names the price. Every unit price is on the pricing page.
Honest limits
- Eight networks, no more. X, Google Business Profile and others are not available, and Weyvox has no messengers — no Telegram, WhatsApp or Viber.
- TikTok is a draft. Videos and photos arrive in your TikTok app, and you publish them there.
- No text-only posts where the network needs media. Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube need a picture or a video.
- A professional Instagram account. Instagram and Threads need a Business or Creator account; Facebook needs a business Page.
- No direct messages or ads. Alice does not send direct messages, run ads, follow accounts, edit profiles or analyse competitors' accounts.
- No promised reach. Nobody can guarantee views, followers or sales, and Weyvox does not; each network's own rules apply to what is published there.
- No credits, no posting. When the plan credits and extra credits are both used up, paid work stops until you buy extra credits or the next month's plan credits arrive.
Every one of Alice's screens is described in the documentation.
Alice, the AI marketer — on her own or with the other agents
Alice is the AI marketer in Weyvox; everything she does is on her page: AI marketer for small business. You can use her on her own: the other agents switch on in the same app when you need them, and an agent you switch off costs nothing. They share one business profile, price list and customer list, so the prices in your posts are the ones in the price list kept by Marc, the AI manager; the calls a post brings in can be taken by Cindy, the AI receptionist; and Leo, the AI coordinator, hands work to the other agents.
With staff on the Business or Professional plan, connecting the accounts and the social media plan stay with you (and a deputy administrator on Professional); a team member posts only on the networks you tick for them under Social media on their card.
Questions people ask
Can I post to all social media at once?
Yes, on the networks Weyvox connects: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Threads, Pinterest and Bluesky. Ask Alice, the AI marketer, in the chat and list the networks: she prepares one post card with a separate version of the text for each, and it goes out on all of them after you tap Publish — on TikTok as a draft in your TikTok app.
Is Weyvox a cross-posting app?
It does cross-posting, but the work is done by an AI agent: Alice writes a version for each network in the language of its audience, uses your photos or makes a picture, and publishes now or at a set time up to 30 days ahead. You stay in control — in the chat, nothing goes out until you tap Publish.
Can I schedule a post on Instagram and Facebook at the same time?
Yes. Ask for the time in the same message — for example, “on Friday at 9:00” — and tap Publish on the post card. The post waits on the Scheduled tab of Alice's Posts screen, where you can change or cancel it until it goes out; Instagram needs a professional account and Facebook a business Page.
Can AI auto-post to social media without me?
Only if you allow it. With a Social media plan and Alice's Autonomy on (Business and Professional plans), she publishes the plan's posts herself. With Autonomy off, and always on Start, each post comes to you as a card with a push notification and goes out only after you tap Publish.
Can I change or cancel a scheduled post?
Yes, until it goes out: use Edit and Cancel on the Scheduled tab, or ask Alice in the chat — she changes the text and the time at once. A published post can be deleted from Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest and Bluesky; on Instagram, Threads and TikTok you delete it in the network's app.
Let Alice post your next update everywhere at once
The quickest way to see her at work is the introduction right after you sign up: tell Leo what brought you to Weyvox and choose Alice for your team, and she can make a photo, a short clip of up to 5 seconds or a reel from your own photos and videos — at no cost, before you choose a plan. Weyvox is available for iPhone and Android.
