AI that makes phone calls for you
An AI that makes phone calls for you is a voice agent that dials a real phone number on your behalf, holds a spoken conversation with whoever picks up, and finishes the errand — a booking, a cancellation, a refund, a question nobody wants to sit on hold for. Weyvox is that agent, built into a phone app: it calls from your own number, can answer your incoming calls, and hands you a written summary when it is done.
What the agent actually does on a call
Not a script reader and not a chatbot with a phone attached. On a live call it:
- Dials real phone numbers — landlines, mobiles, service desks, anywhere in the world.
- Gets through automated menus. It hears "press 1 for billing" and presses 1.
- Waits on hold for as long as it takes. You do not.
- Talks to the person who answers in a natural voice, and reacts to what they actually say rather than to what it expected them to say.
- Sticks to your goal — books the table, cancels the contract, disputes the charge, asks the question, gets the price.
- Says it is an AI. Always, to whoever answers.
- Writes it down. After the call you get a summary and the next steps, so you know what was agreed and what is still open.
It can also work a task that takes more than one call. Give it a multi-step errand and it plans, researches, phones, and comes back with a verified result and a visible journal of what it did — so "done" is something you can check rather than something you have to believe.
It answers your calls too — and you can take over mid-conversation
The same agent works in the other direction. When someone rings your Weyvox number, the agent can pick up for you and deal with it.
And in any live call — one you started, or one that came in — you can hand the conversation over with a single tap:
- the agent starts speaking in your place while you listen;
- you can whisper instructions to it mid-call — "don't accept that price", "ask about the deposit" — and the person on the other end hears none of it;
- you take the conversation back whenever you want.
This is the part most people do not expect: you are not choosing between doing the call yourself and handing it off. You can do both, in the same call.
It speaks 25 languages
English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Greek, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Turkish, Ukrainian, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Indonesian. You choose the language per call, and it is a separate setting from the language of the app itself.
This is the difference between "an AI can call for me" and "an AI can call the French tax office for me". If you live in a country whose language you are still learning, the agent is the one holding the conversation — not you, in a language you do not want to argue in.
How it works
- Tell the agent what you need — in the built-in chat, in your own words. "Call this clinic and get me the earliest appointment after the 15th."
- It makes the call — through the menus, through the hold queue, through the conversation. You can watch it happen or ignore it entirely.
- You get the outcome — a short summary with what was agreed and what to do next.
The call audio is not kept: it is deleted as soon as it has been transcribed for the notes.
Why this one is different
Most tools that call for you are an add-on to your phone. Weyvox is the phone.
- It calls from your number. Not from a service's shared line. The person you are calling sees you, and can call back to a number that is yours.
- Everything is in one app. A real phone number, a messenger, free calls between users, the agent, and the notes it writes. Not a widget bolted onto your dialler.
- No subscription. You top up a balance and pay per use, in euros, at rates published openly on the pricing page. Nothing is charged monthly for the privilege of having the app installed.
- Built in Europe. A French company, euro pricing, European languages, and AI disclosure that meets the EU AI Act obligation in force since 2 August 2026.
- The switches are yours. The agent's access to your chats, contacts, calendar and location each has its own toggle that you control.
What it cannot do
Worth knowing before you rely on it:
- It will not call emergency services. Dial those yourself, always.
- It cannot guarantee an outcome. The other side can say no, and a booking it makes can still be cancelled by the business afterwards.
- Messaging is not end-to-end encrypted. This is a deliberate trade-off, not an oversight: an agent that can help you inside your chats cannot also be locked out of them. Your data is isolated per account, there are no ads and no trackers, and the agent's access to chats is a switch you can turn off. If end-to-end encryption is your requirement, say so honestly to yourself before choosing any assistant that reads anything.
- Android is not out yet. The iPhone app ships today; Android is planned for 1 September 2026.
What it costs
Free: the app itself, messaging, calls between Weyvox users, and the first 5 GB of storage.
Paid from your balance: calls to regular phone numbers, the agent's work, storage above 5 GB, and a real phone number of your own.
Every new user starts with a €5 welcome credit — enough to have the agent make a real call before you decide anything. Full per-minute rates are on the pricing page; the same numbers are shown inside the app before you use a paid feature.
Questions people ask
All questionsWhat is an AI that makes phone calls for you?
It is a voice agent that dials a real phone number on your behalf, speaks with whoever answers, and finishes the errand — a booking, a cancellation, a refund, a question to a service desk. Weyvox is that agent inside a phone app: it calls from your own number, can answer your incoming calls, and writes you a summary afterwards.
Can the AI really hold a phone conversation?
Yes. It speaks in a natural voice, listens, and reacts to what the other person actually says. It gets through automated menus by pressing the right options, waits on hold for as long as it takes, and keeps working towards the goal you gave it.
Does it call from my own phone number?
Yes. When you have a real number in Weyvox, the agent calls from it, so the person you are calling sees your number and not some unknown service. It can also answer calls to that number for you.
Which languages does the agent speak?
Twenty-five: English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Greek, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Turkish, Ukrainian, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Indonesian. You pick the language for each call, so you can have it phone a French utility company or a Polish clinic without speaking the language yourself.
Can I take a call back from the agent?
Yes, at any moment. During any live call you can hand the conversation to the agent with one tap and listen while it talks. You can whisper instructions to it that the other side never hears, and take the conversation back whenever you want.
Does the other person know they are talking to an AI?
Yes. The agent introduces itself as an AI. In the EU this is required of voice agents calling consumers under the AI Act from 2 August 2026, and Weyvox does it by default everywhere.
How much does it cost — is there a subscription?
There is no subscription. The app, messaging and calls between Weyvox users are free; calls to regular phone numbers and the agent's work are charged from a prepaid balance at published per-minute rates in euros. Every new user starts with a €5 welcome credit, which is enough to try the agent on a real call.
Which phones is it available on?
Weyvox is an app for iPhone and Android. The iPhone app is on the App Store; the Android app is in development with release planned for 1 September 2026.
What can the agent not do?
It will not call emergency services — do that yourself. It cannot guarantee an outcome: the other party can refuse, and a booking it makes can still be cancelled by the business. Messaging is not end-to-end encrypted — that is a deliberate trade-off so the agent can help inside your chats when you allow it.
Let the agent take the next call
